New Barn

After serving the Equestrian Community of Metro Atlanta for 30+ years we have seen our facility grow and improve through the years, but we realized that with time comes age and the need for change grows, therefore after a lot of planning and research we determined the way to make our facility the best that it could be was for us to tear down two of our existing barns and build a new facility.

On September 20th we opened the new barn to the community to our boarders. As many of you know not only is this one our businesses, this has also been our family’s home for sixty years, which is why we want it to be second to none.

We feel that our new facility will exemplify the commitment we have to the Equestrian Community
of Metro Atlanta.

GB Williams (1917-2002)

The founder of GB’s Stable left a great legacy in Cobb County through his many businesses and enterprises, but his true passion was horses.

When Mr. Williams purchased his farm in (then) rural Cobb County in 1949 he had no idea that he would one day establish a boarding facility, but his love for horses followed him throughout his life and in the 1970’s he began GB’s Stable. It was his belief that others should have the joy he and his wife, Vonceil, had received from these beautiful and majestic creatures.

Although Mr. Williams didn’t get to see the new facility built in 2008, we're sure he would be proud that his legacy has not only flourished, but has been a stepping stone for the metro Atlanta Equestrian community to have a safe and even luxurious home for their much-loved horses. He would greatly love the fact that though the facilities have improved the atmosphere never changed, for GB’s is still the place to fellowship with those who share a common Equestrian bond and enjoy our beautiful horses.
